It all started in our backyard with a few worm bins and a whole lot of curiosity about composting. We fell in love with raising red wiggler worms and watching them transform kitchen scraps into nutrient-rich "black gold" for our garden. What began as a hobby quickly grew into something bigger when friends, neighbors, and local gardeners started asking, "Can I get some of those worms?"
That's when we knew—this wasn't just a hobby anymore. In 2025, we officially launched Prairie Worm Company to share our healthy red wigglers and premium worm castings with gardeners, composters, and growers everywhere.
